Pricing

Texas Gov't Code Ann. §406.024

Tex. Gov't. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. A Notary Public who charges more than the maximum set out below subjects the notary to possible criminal prosecution and suspension or revocation of the notary’s notary public commission by the Secretary of State's office.

Travel Fees

Mileage fees are calculated based on the IRS Standard Mileage Rate for the current year and will apply to all appointments. Starting location Zip Code is 76244.

Mileage Rate - Per Mile

Location Fees

Location fees only apply to the locations listed below at the listed price. The location fee covers our time and expense in obtaining information related to the locations notarial and non-notarial policies to help reduce unexpected delays that may not allow the notarization to take place.

Hospitals/Nursing Homes/Etc

Fee includes the first 30 minutes on site.  

When scheduling an appointment at a healthcare facility, it is best to try and schedule around any physician visits, and meal and nap times. 

Jails/Detention Centers

Fee includes the first hour on site.  

Aiport

Fee includes the first hour on site.

Additional time on site

Billable in 30-minute increments, starting after the initial allotted time.

Cherish Notary Services observes the following holidays. Services are available by appointment only and the holiday rate will apply.

Military

10%

Military members include all active, reservist, veterans, and retired military personal and their spouses.

First Responder

10%

First Responders include firefighters, law enforcement, EMT's, medical doctors, and licensed nurses.

*All Travel, Location, Holiday, and Other Fees are in addition to the standard notarization fees set by the state. These fees are due prior to the appointment and will still apply in the event the notarization does not take place at the time of appointment. If the appointment is canceled prior to 2-hrs of the appointment time, a full refund will be issued. If the appointment is canceled less than 2-hrs of the appointment time, a cancelation fee of $50 will be withheld from the refund amount.

*All Other Loan Signing Fees are in addition to the Real Estate Package Fees and will be invoiced. In the event the loan signing appointment does not take place, all printing and the cancellation or non-closing charge will be invoiced where applicable.
